Mission Commander Kate Bowman is the pilot of the mission to investigate what
went wrong with the Mars Terraforming Project, and to repair it. However, a
crash landing leaves them without scientific, communication, or escape
equipment, and transforms their mapping and exploration robot into an enemy, on
a mission to hunt down the crew it's supposed to be working for. (That's the
cat-like robot you see in the trailer). Defying orders from Houston, Bowman
refuses to leave the rest of the crew on Mars...
